I remember bringing my family here for the first time 9 years ago (2011) after I found their deal on Groupon. The place was packed and customers are diverse for a reason. It's an awesome experience to be introduced to authentic Ethiopian cuisine. We tried the taste of Ethiopia platter (pictured), to be enjoyed in a communal way, rich in color and flavors. The beer is good too. The servers are attentive.

How many words can I use to describe authentic?! This place has it all! The flavors and the textures take you right back home! Cardamon tea is just the icing on the cake. Spicy is just right and mild really is very mild. The vegetables are fresh and full of flavor. Lentils are fantastic, beef is out of this world! If you only eat vegetarian you will also find something delicious and filling.

Diamond is amazing! Their meat sampler and veggie sample always makes my night. Top that off with some mouthwatering sambusas and you are in for a treat. There are days when sheltering in my house has me down so I place an order at Diamond and immediately my spirits are lifted. Thank you Diamond for always making my meals the highlight of the day. Stay safe â¤ï¸

I would make sure to discuss the gluten free needs before you order. It will limit the options some as a lot of Ethiopian food has some zort of gravy base to it and depending on the thickining agent used, that can contain gluten. Also the bread that dishes are often plated on probably contains gluten. They are super friendly there and willing to help with dietary needs.
